Add Comment Hello All! The Sri Lankan Student Association cordially invite you to Yudof hall this Friday for an exciting two hours of traditional dancing, games, and food! Come learn about some of Sri Lanka's unique culture, and partake in some FREE catered Sri Lankan dishes! Bring your friends for a fun break from your studies! Small World Coffee Hour (SWCH) gives all students, staff and faculty the opportunity to meet with each other in a relaxing environment and to learn about other cultures and traditions from around the world. SWCH events are free and take place every other Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Approximately 200 people attend each event, so come join us in the fun! - Emal The Sri Lankan Student Association would like to cordially invite you the first event of the 2011-2012 school year! The Venerable Bhikku T. Seelanda is hosting a mediation seminar in the St. Paul Student Center next Tuesday, the 18th, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. He will be giving a seminar on mindfulness and the importance of clearcomprehension in establishing a peaceful life. The session is open to the general public, and admission is free. It's a fantastic way to learn stress-management skills and the benefit of inner-peace. More details are included on the attached flier, which will also be posted around campus. Looking for something to spice up a Monday evening? Join us in our celebration of the Sinhalese and Tamil New Year with games, music and food. Oh and it's all FREE!! Learn a little bit about a small country that most people are clueless about and have a taste of our culture and well, our unique food! We would love to have you with us!
